Fetcham United Charities is responsible for the provision of Almshouse accommodation and the Reading Room for use by the residents of Fetcham and other persons, for recreation and other activities.
The Almshouses enable elderly people to live in Fetcham at minimal cost
The Reading Room is used by a variety of groups for activities, such as band practice, mother and baby meetings, quiz nights, etc.
Fetcham is a village of around 8,300 inhabitants, located about 20 miles South-West of London. The Almshouses and Reading Room are located at the North end of the village, on the road to Cobham, just beyond the railway bridge.
